Bakery For Sale

Bakery in Operation Over 34 Years For Sale:

Rudolph’s Enterprises Ltd., doing business as The Landmark Bakery, 416 Front Street is for sale.  The limited company in good standing and registered in British Columbia, along with all its assets is being offered for sale.

The assets are very diverse, but of primary interest is the Waterfront real estate at 416 Front Street and the equipment contained therein.  The property is connected to the Kaslo Sewer system, Kaslo Infonet Fiber Optic Internet, and triple phase power.  All equipment operates with electricity including the Elektro Dahlen deck ovens, several mixers (incl. brand names Hobart, Reynolds, and Eberhardt), and a bun rounder (Eberhardt). In the coffee service area a fully automatic, Swiss built, Schaerer espresso machine is also included.

Upgrades have been performed in recent years with a new commercial laminate wood floor and remodeling done to the front tea room area in the fall of 2013, and a new linoleum floor laid in the bakery work area in 2015.  As upgrades were performed, including lighting, and adding newer equipment, the electrical lines were also replaced, along with the installation of a second electrical service panel.

Historically, 416 Front Street was built as the 3 storey Lakeview Hotel in 1894, and just prior to it becoming Rudolph’s Bakery in 1981, and the Landmark Bakery in 1995, it was known as the Village Green Cafe in the 1970’s, established by Michael Guthrie and named after the famous Beatles hangout in New York City.

The baking inventory at the time of sale would be assessed separately.

Some vendor financing is available.
